There was a strong relationship between economic trade and political and social development in Mississippian and Anasazi societies. These both societies were agriculturalists that made the settle in one place and build large and beautiful towns. The objects of trade have been found by the Archeologists that explains that trade existed among both the societies and also shows the social and political development. For example, artifacts have been found which has religious symbols engraved upon them like a snake or a falcon/warrior bird that also indicates elites and warriors apart from God.
